Finnair announced it will cancel around 100 flights on Wednesday, 2 July, due to strike action by the Finnish Aviation Union (IAU), affecting ground services essential to the airline’s operations.
The cancellations are expected to disrupt travel plans for approximately 7,000 passengers. Finnair said it is contacting affected customers directly.
The IAU has also announced strike actions on 4, 7, 16, 18, 21, and 23 July.
Finnair stated it will inform passengers of any further cancellations related to the strikes two days in advance.
In a previous strike on 17 June, the airline cancelled 143 flights due to similar industrial action.
