SDP Member of Parliament Nasima Razmyar is considering filing a criminal complaint against Finns Party MP Wille Rydman following a controversial social media post, Helsingin Sanomat reported on Tuesday.
Rydman wrote on X that Razmyar “systematically supports everything that is harmful to Finns.” He further claimed she would favour “opening the borders to migration organised by Russia” and “want as many people as possible living in Finland who are not Finnish.”
Razmyar told Helsingin Sanomat the post was “offensive and degrading.” She declined to specify which part of the message she believes might meet the legal definition of a criminal offence.
Razmyar is a deputy chair of the Social Democratic Party. The post has prompted criticism amid ongoing political tension over immigration and asylum policies.
