Finnair has cancelled around 100 flights scheduled for Monday due to strike action by the Aviation Union (IAU), impacting travel for roughly 7,200 passengers.

The airline had planned to operate about 330 flights that day, according to Finnair’s communications department.

This latest disruption is part of a broader wave of cancellations linked to the union’s industrial action.

Finnair has cancelled more than 1,000 flights during the spring and summer period.

The IAU has also scheduled further strikes on 16, 18, 21 and 23 July.

The dispute centres on labour conditions and is ongoing between the IAU and the service sector employers’ organisation Palta. Mediation efforts led by the National Conciliator continue.
