DAVA Foods Finland has issued a recall of several egg products due to a detected salmonella risk. The recall applies to eggs with the stamps 2FI634322 or 2FI634327, found during internal quality control testing.
The affected eggs were sold under the Kultamuna Vapaa and Kotimaista Vapaa brands in S-Group, Kesko, and Pick N Pay stores.
The recall includes multiple package sizes, with “best before” dates of 6 March or 17 March 2025.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled eggs are advised to dispose of them as mixed waste or return them to the store for a refund. DAVA Foods Finland stated that while consuming fully cooked eggs remains safe, the recall is a precautionary measure.
The company apologised for the inconvenience and assured that safety measures are in place to prevent similar issues.
