Health authorities in Helsinki are investigating a suspected norovirus outbreak in the Finnish Parliament, with around 70 reported cases of illness. Officials are examining whether the infections are linked to meals served at the Pikku Parlamentti restaurant.
Helsinki’s environmental health services have inspected the restaurant and found no issues, but enhanced cleaning has been carried out in the dining area and other parliamentary facilities.
Surface samples have been taken to verify the effectiveness of the cleaning measures. Authorities have also sent an electronic survey to individuals who dined at the restaurant between 7–11 March to trace the
