Consumer prices in Finland rose by 1.9 percent in June compared to the same month last year, according to preliminary data from Statistics Finland.
The harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP) shows a slight decrease from May, when the annual inflation rate stood at 2.0 percent.
Health care costs recorded the highest annual increase, rising by 7.3 percent. Alcoholic beverages and tobacco followed with a rise of around 4 percent.
Food and non-alcoholic drinks increased by approximately 2.5 percent.
The HICP is used for international comparison and excludes housing loan interest rates and other credit-related costs.
Across the eurozone, inflation reached 2.0 percent in June, according to Eurostat. This marks a small rise from 1.9 percent in May. Services saw the largest price increases, up 3.3 percent from the previous year.
Food, alcohol, and tobacco prices across the eurozone increased by 3.1 percent year-on-year. Unprocessed food items rose by 4.6 percent.
Among eurozone countries, Estonia posted the highest inflation rate in June at 5.2 percent.
