Eurojackpot grows to €98 million as three Finns win €528,000

Friday’s Eurojackpot draw produced no jackpot winners, sending the prize pool soaring to around €98 million for Tuesday’s draw.

While the top prize went unclaimed, Finland celebrated three major wins. Each Finnish winner matched five numbers plus one star number, securing €528,838 each.

The winning numbers for draw 17/2025 were 13, 14, 40, 43, and 45, with star numbers 5 and 8.

The winning Finnish tickets were purchased online by players from Nurmijärvi and Riihimäki, while a third winning ticket was sold at the K-Supermarket Niipperi in Espoo.

“Eurojackpot luck was strong in Finland tonight! Congratulations to our big winners,” said Ilkka Nisula, Communications Manager at Veikkaus.

Two other 5+1 winning tickets were sold in Germany.

In addition to the three major wins, one Finnish player from Forssa matched five numbers without a star, winning €135,563. Other 5+0 wins were recorded in Greece, Denmark, Germany, Spain, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Sweden, Slovakia, and twice in Poland.

The Joker draw on Friday produced the sequence 2 4 2 1 2 9 3, but no winners were found in the two highest prize categories.

In the Lomatonnin game, the winning combination was Brussels 66, with nine players securing a win.

Players will now look forward to Tuesday’s Eurojackpot draw, where the prize pool could approach record levels if there is still no jackpot winner.
